What I Am Banking On

By

The best we can all hope for is the goal we really want to achieve, the achievement of what will make us genuinely happy, no matter what it is. To create our estimation of a winner is the genuine key for happiness for anyone. Indeed, to win is what we all bank on when we go out of the gate. But only the "tortoises" win over the "rabbits" every time. Consistency and persistence make a winner, not so much talent, the breaks, good family history and all of that.
What you can take to the bank to create a genuine winner is the "grits and sweat" of it all or the persistence and consistency to make that winner. Some of the greatest people in history are not afraid of initial failure and seeming loss once in a while as does real winning come in work clothes most of the time. As does the "slow, pathetic" tortoise win over the "fast, exciting, talented" rabbit every time in the old tale of the foot race between them. Indeed, persistence is "grits" in my estimation and consistency is perspiration no matter how you look at it. But when the victory is permanent, it is well worth it. When it is something silly, it is not worth it. Gauge for yourself which it is.
The productive use of the mind is what is required for real winning. Physical force in winning without productive use of the mind and consciousness is competitive, not creative and never permanent winning in any way. Creative winning utilizes the mind productively in every genuine way and sense that counts. There is no sunshine or happiness in rank competitiveness over genuine creativity when thought about fully rationally without worthless illusions.
So banking on the creative and rationally spiritual is always better than banking on the gross physical and competitive. After all, through all that I advocate here, success is genuinely possible. Through what I do not advocate, failure is assured. So, be creative a few hours past quitting time, you will be surprised at the benefits. A little humor there. But seriously, power comes to the person that applies the creative secret of success I just mentioned. Do not just look in the direction of power, move in the direction of power and power you will have within and outside of yourself, in that order. Come to your own rescue, no one else is unless you move yourself in the direction of power.
